Sometimes we might notice a shell, stone or piece of wood that reminds us of something else. Well, while cleaning up palm fronds from my yard, I had the thought that one reminded me of a fish. I've seen painted palm fronds  at art and craft shows, and was given one as a gift. Palm fronds are similar to painting on wood. They can be sanded and preserved with a clear coat. So I decided to give it a try. What I created is something fun to hang in the sitting area I created in my carport. 

 Animal mask...maybe an antelope??
