Winter in Florida is typically a dry season, with rain being rare. This year is an exception, so far. My yard is green and lush from all the rain. I cut my grass today and did some weeding. My vegetable garden, which is small and in a shadier spot than last year, is starting to produce. I made spicy vodka infused with basil and jalapenos peppers from the garden. I enjoyed a bloody Mary this morning before walking in the yard snapping a few pictures of things that interested me in the garden. Check the recipe page for the vodka.
